------ Sterling silver-filled wire is made of a durable outer layer of sterling silver surrounding a copper-alloy core and is finished with an anti-tarnish coating to preserve the beauty.
The thickness of the sterling silver overlay on this wire constitutes a full 1/10th of its overall weight.
The sterling is bonded to a brass core (CDA #220; 90% copper/10% zinc). The thick coating of sterling silver makes it durable and long lasting.
